Q: anyone know any good white electronics not apple?
i have A LOT of apple electronics but are there any other ones that arnt apple that are white like a tv?
A: Research your question by doing an internet search. There is a good chance that you will be able to find what you're looking for.
Q: What is the name of the electronics event that Apple showcases the coming year's new iPods?
I believe it happens in September, if not October.
Thanks.
I just looked it up and the CES happens in January, so it wouldn't be that one. Thanks though.
A: Apple usually makes announcements at various shows they attend, in particular at the MacWorld Expo (usually early in the year) and at the Mac Developer's conference.
But they also hold a "special" conference as a press event to announce new products whenever they have such announcements to make, but quite often, these are scheduled for sometime in September, since they usually make such product announcements in time for the Christmas buying season. The rumor is that they will hold such a conference, later this month.. but that's just a rumor.
I don't know of any big consumer electronics shows in the fall... CES (the US Consumer Electronics Show) is in January. E3 is in the late Spring/Early Summer, and that's not really for Apple. The Toy Faire is usually in May or June, and again, not really Apple's thing. So I think, if they're announcing something this month, they just will, not in conjunction with another event.
Q: what is the difference between APPLE(electronics brand) and MAC(macintosh)?
i dont know what exactly is the difference as i've heard people saying both i.e -"i have an apple computer/laptop" or "i have mac computer/laptop"
why there are two names.
is mac just the software, thats what i'm guessing.
pls enlighten me :)
A: Apple is the name of the manufacturer. Mac is the brand name. Calling their computer an "Apple" is a bit of a misnomer; Apple was actually also a brand name of computers predating the Macintosh.

Q: How can i make a buisness like Apple?
I want to open a buisness like Apple and design electronics.....
any helpful advice? or even what i have to goto school for to become it?
A: first you cannot find it in school..SCHOOLS ONLY SHOW YOU THE THOUGHT PROCESS OR ORDER OF developing your ideas...you have to have an idea that you want to put out there.....you have to have that inventors thought process.surround yourself with bright people that think outside the box..that is how those people started their businesses.......thinking outside the box....having a vision that a idea of something you thought can change the world..SO WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TABLE THAT WILL CHANGE MY LIFE????
Q: We are going to Vietnam tomorrow. What kind of adapter do we need to plug in our electronics there.?
We are going to Vietnam tomorrow. What kind of adapter do we need to plug in our electronics there, specifically an Apple MacBook.
A: I’m an IT consultant and I travel quite often - especially to Vietnam. I regularly face plug compatibility and power supply issues while traveling, and I cannot afford to screw around with products that would jeopardize the integrity of my electronic equipment. For plug adapters, you will want the following:
APC International Plug Adapter
http://www.apc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=INPA
This unit is rugged, easy to use and easy to store. The unit’s profile is small enough to fit in a pant pocket. It can be configured to any AC plug configuration you will find. I have two of these that have survived through dozens of brown outs and blackouts without issue.
You MacBook’s power supply should be adaptable to 220 VAC, but check the specifications to make sure. You will need just the plug adapter if it does support 220 VAC otherwise you will need to invest in a power supply that can handle 220 VAC. I would also recommend APC for a replacement power supply, but I don’t have a specific model to recommend, because that will depend on how your MacBook is configured.
You will want to buy your AC adapters and power supplies in the United States. Electronics sold in Vietnam is often low grade and low quality stuff. If you value your MacBook, you will want to take the extra steps to keep it from getting whacked in a brown out.
Have a great trip!
Q: What color apples (fruit, not electronics) do you prefer?

A: I love green granny smith apples! They are the best.....

Q: Why does the Apple store never have sales?
All other electronics stores like Dell and Sony discount merchandise that's been in the store for a while...But Apple never does this with iPods or cases. Is this because the iPod keeps changing physically?
A: Because they will still sell plenty of stuff even if it doesn't go on sale and this way they will make more money.
Q: Which Apple iPod Nano color looks the best?
I'm thinking of getting the 16GB one for $199.99. But I can't decide on the color that I want; I like either green, yellow, or orange. What do you think?

Q: Can the Apple Remote control be used with a Windows-based PC?
A friend gave me a brand new Apple Remote control ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Remote ) that his office was just going to throw out. But I have no way to use it right now. I have 2 third-party iPod docks, and the remote works with neither dock (though each dock came with its own remote and each remote only works on its own dock, so I didn't expect much from that direction). And I'm not interested in purchasing a Mac.
So I would like to know if there is any way I can use the Apple Remote with my Windows-based PC? Is there a USB infrared (IR) receiver that will accept the Apple Remote signal? If I just bought any old USB IR receiver, is there a software that I could use to decode the Apple Remote's signal in order to use it with a Windows-based PC?
I know that the Apple Remote is supposed to work with the AppleTV. But are there other electronics that work with the Apple Remote besides the Apple iPod dock or Mac computers?
A: nope
Q: is there any advantage to buying an Ipod at an Apple store rather than an electronics store?
like Circuit City or Best Buy
A: In less you work for a company that gives you a discount on apple products, the only thing is the engravings apple does which I do not think is worth it. My company get a discount on apple stuff, but once shipping is included you have done spent more than you would have buying it in the store. So in my opinion no.
Q: Why is there so many Apple fanboys?
Seriously apple is not the best in electronics okay, if you want a mp3 with good sound quality get the p2, or the zune, or if you want a good touch screen phone with music get a samsung eternity or quickfire or if you want a computer or laptop try microsoft really people now?
A: I hate apple. The ipod won't let you keep your music if you have to use another computer(when your computer breaks down) unless you have a mac and you go through tons of pain to do it and you have to pay top dollar for those pieces of crap(happened to my father). The computers always crash as much as they want to say it never happens and there just as good as pc's yet they cost tons more. People just believe the hype plus they like buy what everyone else is buying.
