Q: LG LW40 Notebook driver, I need to download all the drivers to ensure that I work?
LG LW40 Notebook driver, I need to download all the drivers to ensure that I work............................. ..................Thanx!

A: I just went to the LG site, and to their support section... put in the fact that I was in the US, the fact that I wanted software for a notebook, and the fact that I wanted drivers for XP... and then typed lw40 in the subject field... and I got a list of all the downloads available However, since it is all handled in JSP, I can't link that result page to you... since it will not populate all the fields with the choices I made, so you will have to start here... http://www.lge.com/support/software.jsp I have no idea what OS you are looking for, so that's as far as I (or anyone else I think) can go in helping you.

Q: LG NoteBook (F1 Express) drivers for Xp?
I purchased an LG Notebook (F1 Express Duel) with windows Vista installed in it. But this Vista was not supporting most of the softwares and hardwares I was already using as AutoCad and Web Cam. Now I removed / formated my hard disk and installed Windows XP but unable to install the drivers of hard ware in it (e.g. sound, VGA, network adapter etc). Can anyone help how to find these drivers as I do not know the specific card names and IDs of the hardware in it. I already checked on LG website but no support is available for these systems regarding XP drivers.

Q: I have a an LG LW70 notebook w/ 17.1" monitor, what is the best resolution so my pictures don't look dwarf
My notebook is LG LW70 with 17.1" wide screen monitor with max. resolution of 1680x1050. Any picture as desktop background become dwarf if this is in stretch mode, tile mode or center mode.

A: You can easily work at a resolution of 1024*768 on a 17" monitor. I myself use a resolution of 1024*768 on my 17" Samsung Monitor. It looks best on it, but if it does look small to you, you can try it at 800*600 resolution. To set the resolution, right click anywhere in an empty space on your desktop and click properties, which will bring up the display properties dialog box, now navigate to the settings tab and there you will find the option to set your monitor resolution. After you apply it, you will asked to confirm the settings, click yes to apply the new settings, otherwise click no. Enjoy!

Q: Software problem with LG E500 notebook: Bluetooth?
I've recently bought myself a new notebook computer, LG E500. I want to use the Bluetooth connection for my cellphone (Nokia 6300). I installed the driver for Bluesoleil and the small icon appeared to the right on the task bar. Now, when I click on "Turn Bluetooth on" it just says that bluetooth-software wasn't found...wtf! I just checked the files for the BT drivers and even though I'm not a computer-genius, it seems like the install-files is not supported by the OS (that is Windows Vista home premium)... Is it possible that this would wok if I install XP as a second OS? Or is there another way around? In the product description of the notebook at the webshop, it says that BT is optional an may not be installed on every notebook: how can I find out if there's installed a bluetooth-receiver/antenna in my pc?? Sorry if I seem confused -I really am! Hope some of you smart guys can help me solve this one ;) Thanks!

A: There is usually a warning light which illuminates when an internal Bluetooth card is active, but doesn't for an external device. Also, in Windows XP at least, there is a Bluetooth icon in the Control Panel if an internal card is present. However, if you contact the LG Service Desk or the place where you purchased it from, they should be able to confirm if your machine had one installed during the build. If there isn't a card installed, you can buy a USB Bluetooth device for about £15 / $25 which is generally cheaper than an internal card and that will come with its own drivers. Also, as you probably know, you have to activate Bluetooth in your phone before it can be detected by the computer. Hope this helps

Q: is apple keyboard compatiable with my LG V-note R1-G5600 notebook?
I'm planning on purchasing a keyboard for my laptop but i was wondering if apple keyboard compatiable with my LG V-note R1-G5600. I went to Apple website and it says Mac notebook/computer and MAC OS ~~version or later needed...blah blah..I though it was okay to use any brand for keyboards and mouses...please help ASAP. How about the monitors? (doesn't have to be apple...does brand matter?) I was looking at apple USB(Ultra thin)MB110LL/A or the blue tooth one.. will it work? And which one is more convenient? My window version is XP home edition by the way. And, yes I have USB ports (2.0) and I think I also have the blue tooth system installed in my notebook already but not sure cuz I've never used it...

A: The USB Apple keyboard will work fine with a Windows PC. Windows will see it as a Microsoft brand keyboard. You can use the Microsoft Intellitype drivers to enable the extra keys, like audio and stuff like that. Some of the keys are apple specific, but they perform windows functions. Here are a few I can think of off the top of my head... Apple Key = Windows key Option Key (looks like a squiggle near the Apple key) is the CTRL key. There is no numlock key, but the key that sits in the same position as the numlock on a windows keyboard is numlock. (I'm not on my Mac at the moment or I'd say what it is.) Its not hard you'll get used to it. Good luck. EDIT: Forgot the monitor. The Apple monitor works fine. With a couple of caveats. The The Apple monitor has a DVI connector so you'll need a DVI to VGA adapter to use it on a card with out a DVI connector. Some Video cards don't support wide screen, so you'll have to make sure your video card has the latest and greatest drivers if you have any problems. The last time I checked there were no Windows drivers for the big Apple monitor, Its not that easy to set the monitor parameters in Windows as it is in Linux, so you might have to research that if you do use an Apple monitor and have problems. Chances are someone will make a Windows driver for it if they haven't already.

Q: I recently got a notebook of LG and I would like to know if I could improve its performance?
The characteristics are, as far as I remember, Intel Core Duo 2Ghz 32bit - nVidia 8400 Graphics Card 128 mb dedicated memory and 2 Gb ram DDR2. In my manual it clearly says that 128 of system memory dedicated to the craphics card and 800 (something) is shared. Is there any way to dedicate more system memory to the graphics card? I am aware that notebooks are not recommended for games but is there any way to improve my performance in gaming experience? Thank you in advance.

A: well you would have to go to bestbuy and buy a better CARD and have them install it into the laptop Mainly gaming laptops are the Entertainment Laptops those have more RAM/memory/ and brighter screens such as the HP DV6449
