Q: Has anyone used the Philips Norelco BodyGroom on their groin area?
Your supposed to be able to use it there and I'm just wondering how well it does. Thanks for any help.
You don't have to use a trimmer guide so you can clean shave I guess.
A: I have , I really like it, on the closest setting it does leave about a millimeter of hair in order to prevent ingrown hairs, however if you do want to fully shave then it only takes a second since all the big stuff is mowed down, it does have various hieght settings and such, I recommend it
Q: Do you think the Braun pulsonic smodels would give a much closer shave than the much Philips Norelco arcitec?
If yes, why?
The arcitec has rotary flex properties that acts better on the neck for a close shave than the foil ones. Am I correct?

A: Get a rechargeable one with the edge trimmer on the back, I've had a 3865XL model for about 25 years, I use it everyday, it won't break or wear out. A few years ago, the nicad batteries wouldn't take a charge as well. I bought a couple of AA nicads with solder tabs at a swap meet. Soldered them in and its good as new. I'm 60, this shaver may out last me.

What products are best for shaving "below the neck"?
A: I usually "trim below the neck" with my Peanut Clipper, it's a smaller , easy to use trimmer and comes with 4 different size guards for varying lengths. You can but it at most beauty supplies , like Sally's for example, for around $30. I use Nair on my butt, any depilatory works though. Make sure to follow the directions carefully, as you could burn your skin if left on for too long. like a dumass i started shavin mii dick with it before i had read i had 2 clean it out after every use ..soo once i was done i opend it it up and cleaned it out i pushed one of the shavers all of it came off and i wanna know how 2 put it back together b4 mah parents come bak
A: Let me get this straight. You decided to "tidy up" a bit and used your dad's electric razor and then when you tried to clean it, you knocked a piece off and now can't get it back on.
Bummer, those things are expensive.
Try to gently snap the piece back in, but don't force because you could break it more.
If you can't easily snap it back in, clean all your pubes out of it and "come clean" with your dad by telling him you shaved your FACE with it and when you tried to clean it it came apart.
It will be better to tell him than for him to find the thing broken when it's all hectic and he's trying to get ready for work in the morning.
He might know how to put it back together.
If not he can probably get the replacement part or have it repaired for a lot less than buying a new one.

Every time I use it to shave my back, chest, and shoulders, it always causes my skin to break out. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
A: Probably not...your skin is too sensitive. Although it is possible that the more you use it, the less abrasive and damaging it will become as your skin becomes used to it.
Q: braun free control vs. philips norelco. which is better?
is the one with the shaving heads better or the one with one long shaving head like the braun. these are both electric shavers.
A: the ones with the short heads give you a better "cut "

I can't decide which razor to purchase. I've heard Braun is a closer shave but I keep seeing the new Philips Norelco commercial. I have heard Norelco can be better for longer hairs.
A: I use a Phillips...I shave my head daily with it...it is faster and closer than any other I have used...

A: I'm a girl with way softer skin then my boyfriend and i can tell which razor he uses when he kisses me. Yes, it's that much of a difference. Electric shavers don't get close at all. He shaves and it's like a 5 o'clock shadow, but with the razor he's silky smoothe. Don't go for the electric, the girls will thank you.

A: Well I'm a girl so I never shave my face,but I know from shaving my legs if you use a razor and you have a spot or bump on your legs it cuts you,so I think your only option it to use eletric shavers,The most well knowen brands are probable best,why not ask at a chemist or weaever you bye your saver,they bound to know what is most popular and what works best

Q: How to shave in a circular motion with a rotary shaver.....really confused?
My new Philips Norelco is great but when I shave against the growth of hair, I still get uneven spots of hair on my face. So I read the manual and they say to shave in a "cricular motion". How do u shave in a circular motion? How can you do it for areas like under the chin and the moustache area ( yes I'm clean shaven)? Experts..enlighten me

I am going to get my boyfriend a much needed electric shaver for christmas and I am stuck on what brand to get?
right now he has a braun 5775 which he only uses it for the trimmer, and the Philips norelco speed XL.

A: THE three circle blades really are the best...because they stay sharper for much longer than normal shavers. I assure you that your boyfriend....won't be upset. =). If he is....you can sooooo give it to me...hehehehe.
